Japanese Vinegar Miso Salad

Quick and easy recipe for healthy eating. This matches "Sake" as an appetizer.

Ingredients
  

Main

  • 1 stalk Green onion "Kujo" green onion would be the best for this recipe
  • 1 tbsp White miso or brown miso depending on your preference
  • 1/2 tbsp Rice vinegar or other malt vinegar depending on your preference
  • 1/2 tbsp Beet sugar or brown sugar

Toppings, etc (up to you!)

  • Ground sesame
  • Thinly sliced green onion (called white-hair sliced green onion in Japanese)

Instructions
 

1.Prep (Green onion)

  • Boil green onions with salt water (0.5~0.8%).
  • Then, cut them into pieces (3~4cm long).

2.Prep (Vinegar miso)

  • Stir white miso, rice vinegar and beet sugar.
  • You can add salt if that suits to your taste.

3.Mix ingredients and serve

  • Mix 1 with 2, then serve as you like.
